Afghan EFL Instructors’ Use of Teaching Methods

چکیده

The study investigated the Afghan EFL instructors’ use of English teaching methods. It also studied whether gender had any significant impact on their responses. A survey questionnaire with 35 closed-ended items was utilized to collect data from 50 instructors who were in various language centers Takhar. Descriptive and inferential statistics used analyze data. results revealed that frequently Grammar Translation Method communicative method classes. Moreover, sometimes Audiolingual Method, Direct Total Physical Response Silent Way. Way least classrooms. showed there not statistically differences between female male response. suggests an eclectic methods classes order make learning more meaningful students.
